If you’re looking for a quick and easy to make Easter craft then look no further than these adorable Easter bunny whiskers. Some children don’t like to wear full face masks and so this makes a great alternative. It’s also ridiculously cute!
Don’t you just love when things are simple? It’s almost like a huge sigh of relief and I’m all for that. Of course there are lots of great activities, which I’ve pinned to my Easter Pinterest board and we have done a few fun activities in the past, like this Easter Egg suncatcher using contact paper, but this simple Easter bunny whiskers might have to be one of my favourites. Perfect if you’re looking for that last minute Easter activity to do with kids.
Recommended age: 3 years +
(Active supervision and assistance is required when making this craft)
You will need –
- Paddle pop lolly stick
- Pipe cleaner
- Pom pom
- Hot glue gun or school glue
Simply cut the pipe cleaner in half and, using the hot glue gun or a strong school glue, stick them into a cross shape before adding the pom pom on top. It is that simple to make. Kailo Chic did it in this post too! It really is a 5 minute to make Easter craft.
I can’t tell you how much Possum (aged 3 years) loved this. She is obviously too young to use a hot glue gun by herself but she enjoyed instructing me on how to put it all together.
As soon as it was done she was outside hippity hopping just like a bunny rabbit. It was really adorable to watch and listen to her imagination run wild. One after another Possum began making up little stories and dances, which all included her little Easter bunny whiskers. Can you imagine a whole classroom of kids with these bunny whiskers. Cuuuuute!
