I’m picky when it comes to how my children engage in technology, particularly screen time, which you can read my thoughts about that here. I might be the cheese that stands alone, but I do believe technology is important and can be used in a way that benefits a child and the whole family.
This photo makes me really laugh. Check out Possum and Boo’s face when they discovered they had their very own Xbox One S system. I think hubby’s face looked a little similar.
The interesting fact is, this Xbox One S system does a whole lot more than just play games, as you would expect. It brings all your family entertainment needs together so everyone is happy and can enjoy it together. Let me share with you some top things to try with the whole family on Xbox One S system.
Personalised accounts for everyone
One thing I really like about the Xbox One S is that everyone in the family can have their own individual user profile, therefore having a unique experience suited to them.
As a parent you can set yourself as the master user so that the whole family is accessing the content that’s right for them. You can also set a time limits to manage the screen time!
Movie night with Xbox One S
Quite honestly, all your big screen entertainment is rolled into one with Xbox One S where you will find your favourite films and TV, Netflix, Stan, live TV, Foxtel Go, YouTube or Twitch. There will always be something to enjoy as a family, creating a great night in.
Games night for the family
Every week our family try to commit to having a games night. It usually happens on a weekend. We love it because it encourages us to play together as a family, learn new skills (like how to be a gracious winner), problem solve and more. One option would be to include a family friendly game using the Xbox One S system. There are a huge range of games for all ages and interests.
If you’re wanting to know more about the Xbox One S then be sure to check out their website here.

Those faces are priceless….. I have nearly the exact same picture I was heavily pregnant with the twins (now 14) and gave my hubby his very first xbox as a Christmas gift, total surprise. I think he loves his xbox as much as i love my netflix, helps us to relax in the evenings.
Kate says
Hahaha I totally get you Kat. It’s nice to have that something that the whole family can enjoy together, or by themselves. 🙂
Kirsty stewart says
My kids would go bananas over this Xbox as they have never experienced somthing like this it’s exactly what they need to entertain on rainy cold days just to take the pressure off mum & dad for 1 day I will do anything 😩
Brooke says
I would love to win this Xbox for my son who has been asking for one for ages, but we just cannot afford. It would be nice for him to escape his sisters from time to time to have some downtime. Although, I’m sure my girls (and probably husband) would love it too 😊
ndemi says
This article just made me want to have a family like right now!
Kate says
LOL look at your kids faces! My kids would have the same faces!
We’d love to win an xbox because we have an ancient Wii and it’s one of the best family activities! We all love getting together to play, but it’s getting harder and harder to find games that are compatible with the old system. My boys are madly trying to save up enough money for a new console, but they only get $2.50 pocket money a week so it’s going to take a while!
Kylie says
Our other game console that will remain nameless was sold to me by hubby as being a “family game console”…try as I might I can’t find anything “Family” about any of the games for it…there seem to be a lot of MA15+ GAMES! But I would love games and movies the whole family could enjoy! I think Miss 6 and Master 4 would love minecraft…and I know I’d love to watch Netflix!
Kristi says
Soo cool
Janette Scheuble says
My husband kids love Xbox we use it for exercise and at the moment my 4 year old is obsessed with Minecraft.
Stacey says
We currently have another (old) game console that is starting to make some really strange noises. Our boys are obsessed with Minecraft and would love to be able to teach daddy how to play it on an xbox with them.
Kirsty @ My Home Truths says
We have a much loved Xbox 360 and my gaming kids (plus my gamer husband!) would love an upgrade to an Xbox One S. I love watching my kids play Minecraft – I have no idea how they come up with all the amazing ideas they do, but somehow they have a world with a skate park, library, cafe, water park, parkour circuit and tennis court! The creativity and planning they show makes this much more than just a game.
Amber L Greene says
I’m compelled to enter this competition. The Xbox One Minecraft bundle is on my nine year old son, Ned’s, Christmas wish list (Yes. The list started late June) and he just wrote his first (edition) Santa letter with the Xbox One as number one! I’d be over the moon to win this for him from Santa! Thanks for the chance.
trixi says
I love that photo of Possum and Boo! I’ve never used an xbox!! But they certainly seem to do much more than I ever imagined. Love the idea of family film nights in!
Kate says
My kids would die for this prize! Miss 9 is a huge fan of minecraft and owns an extensive collection minecraft books (which she reads over and over). I asked her why she’d like to win and the answer is “because it’s awesome”.
Danya says
Oh I love that shot of their excited faces! (And why wouldn’t they be??)
I’m a big fan of playing games together as a family unit – it’s such a great way to keep the playfulness alive for the whole family, and it makes for a cost effective fun night in! We play lots of off-screen games (board games, word games, card games etc.) and my kids are getting to an age where they’re ready for onscreen games too. This would be a perfect introduction to this type of game format!
Penny Whitehouse says
Xbox is fun for children galore,
Minecraft and Fifa, they all want more.
Xbox brings fun with creative play,
And it’s great consequence to take away.
Build it and play it, Xbox is hot,
I really hope we’re in for a shot!
Maree M says
If I was to win an Xbox One for my family I would be the coolest mum ever!!
X – eXcellent quality
B – Big range of games and apps
O – One console is all you need
X – eXcitement and fun
O – Outstanding features
N – Netflix and movies
E – Everyone can play together
Mary says
This is just what our son wants to get and insists it will get me playing games with him! Bye bye housework and hello gaming practice while he’s at school!! 🤣😂🤣
There are specific games only available on Xbox he has his eye firmly on…it’s not so much an if as a when for us and Xbox.
Can’t wait! Xxx
Maxabella says
My kids would spend hours just creating the perfect avatar… so perfect! We don’t have a gaming console, despite my son putting it on his birthday list for years. I love the fact that this one is so interactive and social. That’s a big tick from me. The look on my kids’ faces will be priceless if I bring this baby out to play!!
Yvonne Ryan says
I look after my grandkids as their mum works , this really would be wonderful to have at my house as sometimes they just can’t go out and play because of the weather . I know the grandkids would really love this
Chelsea says
To be honest, I would love to win this amazing prize because my boys love their iPads but they are limited as far as games to play with other people and are definitely sit still options. I would love to have an Xbox with games we could play together as a family and extra bonus points that it has active options. I think it would make the perfect addition to family game night. I will admit that I find it hard to be interested in many of my boys’ hobbies (I can only take so many paper airplanes and martial arts moves) but I think an Xbox is something we could do together and all have fun with – which is so important for connecting with kids and building solid relationships.
Karen caddis says
My boyfriend had a stroke we find him playing the old PlayStation is helping his right arm and his language co oridates so would love to win this , being on pensions now money tight so we really can’t afford to up grade ..
Candice Milner says
With the wet weather we’ve had lately, I’ve been thinking about different family games we can play together to keep everyone interested. The Xbox One S sounds like it is just what we need to take game night up a notch. My son has an avid imagination and loves building things. Sometimes it takes over the entire house. He has never played Minecraft, but it definitely sounds like something he would love, and it might stop me tripping over his tunnels and roads and everything else he creates all around the house. The Xbox One S could save my life.
Amanda says
We like watching movies together on it.
Casey says
Their little faces are adorable!
Winning this would be amazing
I would love to win as my darling son may never forgive me for not only accidentally breaking his old Playstation but apparently his and his sisters lives when along with the console went a years worth of building our mine craft village…one of the few things that helped us heal when my husband and I separated.
Winning this would and I quote make me the worlds best mum and will ensure he writes and asks Santa to take me off the naughty list along with giving me and my children a chance to play as a family without the fights of daily life!
sonya says
I would love to own a X box.
I have a kids entertainment Business called Smile kids Parties and have alot of kids asking would be great if you had an xbox.
Perfect prize for a kids corner so parents can relax knowing there child is enjoying downtime playing with my X box.
Erin R says
With 4 kids and a husband that love video games this would be awesome. They really love minecraft too, They currently have an xbox 360 but hardly any games are being released for that now
jocelyn Bartczak says
Because of family problems my son and I have not seen 3 of my son/ Grandsons since November 2016. Our heart is now full of joy to learn we will get visitation from September. We will have them fortnightly and half of the school holidays. We would love to have an Xbox to surprise them when they finally come over. This will help connect us all again by having fun playing and being together as a family unit.Thankyou for the opportunity to enter such a great comp.
Kerry says
My little Master 5 is xbox obsessed
His birthday is in 2 weeks, this present would be the best
His sister broke his xbox, it made him so upset
A brand new xbox and family games night, we’d be set!
Caro says
I have THREE boys (ok four if I include hubby) – what more is there to say😂. This would be a real game changer in our house!
Lisa says
Because we have a hand held console that only allows one player at a time. My two are good at sharing 80% of the time but I know they’d love to be able to play together. Hopefully peacefully . TWO playing the Xbox ONE …..
Sarah Head says
Time for an upgrade…years ago my family pitched in to buy me an Xbox 360 (as an adult) – now commandeered by the 10 year old, we’d love the Xbox one to keep having fun together and add some of the new games that aren’t compatible with the 360. I’ve learnt the basics of Minecraft and my son learns some dance moves. Win-win for both of us. Good luck everyone!!
Dee-Anne Hoving says
I see what my kids build on Minecraft and I WANNA PLAY TOOOOOO! An Xbox would be an awesome way for us to play together!
Melanie says
Awesome post!
I would love to win this xbox because my oldest (8) is minecraft mad.
We have an old xbox and it’s dying which will be the end of his world.
Our son is on the spectrum has trouble with bullies and making friends but on minecraft he has friends that are just like him on the spectrum and the build these beautiful worlds together and craft and mine some awesome stuff. He also plays and talks to one of his cousins in nz on the xbox and it fulls my heart listening to him talk away to her as if they have been together forever when in fact they have never met yet.
It is helping build his confidence, helping with his speech, and oh my his imagination when it comes to building worlds, it’s like being inside his mind and it is helping us understand more about him.
Celeste says
Our movie nights are compromised due to early soccer games now and my kids dislike cliff hangers ie turning it off halfway through. Winning this would mean they could practice their skills to beat their uncle when he visits
Vicki Thomson says
I’d love to win the Xbox because I have 3 children who are absolutely obsessed with all things technology. 2 of my 3 kids have ASD and ADHD and games are a release/calming thing for them because one, they get instant gratification and two, it’s something they can control. Gaming worlds make sense to them when the rest of the world doesn’t! Our Xbox 360 gave up the ghost not too long ago after years of heavy use, the replacement 2nd hand console leaves a bit to be desire, would be so nice to open up the gaming world to them again.
Joshua Bennion says
My son askes me every day if we could get an xbox with minecraft, he watches youtube videos every chance he gets. I recon id be the bedt dad in the world to him if i could win one!
Janice says
To see the joy on my child’s face when her and her siblings and friends play together, while I’m looking on. Locking that in my memory bank for after she passes.
Lesa Fazey says
It would be awesome to win a great prize like this. Everything in our house is old and broken. It would be just amazing to have a brand new xbox one for my daughter and I to play on. She is minecraft mad. I would like to love to play with her, but we don’t have a console to play on together.
Kristy says
Would love to be considered for the Xbox prize pack. A fantastic opportunity for the kids and I to play minecraft together in the same platform! They love to build and survive and are so amazingly creative in the game but we can’t play together with what we hve at the moment. Thank you for running this giveaway!!
Brianna says
My kids would love this as their father promised them one for Christmas which really means I’ll have to buy it and this is the only way they will get one
eva says
My grandchildren have been pestering me for ages to get an Xbox for us to watch movies and play games while they are at my house.
This might be just their chance to teach “gaming grannie” a trick or two!
Matthew De'Ath says
Dad would really, really, really love an xbox one s so that my 13 year old, my 9 year old & my 2 year old twins can free up my pc, my ipad & my phone from playing Minecraft. I mean seriously… please consider us 🙂
Nathan Timmins says
so my boy who is 4 nearly five can play minecraft as he loves this game but single wage 3 kids is hard would be awesome to win
Nicole says
The boy has asked for a console for his birthday,
But many consoles have lots of violent games,
And his mum is a bit particular about what he can play,
She thinks the Xbox One S may be the way!
Adam Menzel says
I have 2 boys aged 4 & 2 and a 7 day old baby girl. This would keep the kids entertained for hours which would be great!
Charl L. says
Can imagine my family’s surprise,
If this Xbox One S appeared before their eyes,
There would be squeals of pure joy,
From my little girl and boy,
Hubby would also be delighted,
Our extended family could be invited,
Movie nights, games and TV shows,
My kids love Minecraft, fingers crossed, who knows!
John Kennedy says
Having 2 boys who are autistic 6-4 and it’s our eldest birthday on the 17th July so this would be an absolute amazing gift as he loves minecaft so much
Dana Mole says
I have three boys who love Minecraft! They would love an Xbox one s!
Sandra says
I would love the Xbox prize pack to give to my little man who is soon to celebrate his 8th birthday 🙂
Matthew says
This would be perfect for my lil man, he loves learning and minecraft would be perfect for him.
Kat Barber says
Growing up my sister and I had a Nintendo 64 and it was amazing, if you didn’t grow up wrestling for the controller and yelling out for mum to intervene did you even have a childhood ? My two little rascals would love it !
Kim Scott says
I too feel technology is to be enjoyed & learnt together, My 4 eldest are in there 30-20’s n I have a 7 yr old son plus 4 grandkids (7 down to 1) I’m enjoying learning all about techno advances with & WOW aren’t they GREAT!!! The XBox One S would be AWESOME & I could show them that Mum/Nan is a “Gamer” from way back lol 🙂
Hayley Brennan says
BecaUse you wouldn’t want me to be uncool and my children to be the ONLY ones that don’t have one 😅😂
Daniel says
I need an xbox one because i need my nieces and nephews to think I am still cool again they look down on me because I still play my old xbox
Jasmine Waters says
The look on those childrens faces!
I would love to win this Xbox so i could invite my younger cousins over fir a games night and have some more fun with them. They do like spending time with me and i think this will be perfect for the 3 of us
Rod Costello says
I love the idea of family games night. Having a 7 year old son and 16 year old daughter it can be really hard to find things that everyone can enjoy together. My son, who is only slightly more infatuated with dinosaurs than Minecraft at the moment would just lose his mind over this pack. He has been trying to teach me all about it using my phone and being able to spend more time bonding over that would just be amazing. I think I might even be able to convince my wife to play a bit. But what I escially love is being able to set time limits and use parental controls, so handy in a world that just keeps getting busier and busier. Thank you for this article and the chance to win a new Xbox One, even without it maybe I can adapt these ideas to non-technological activities.
Gary Lekkas says
I would like to win a Xbox One S for my 9 year old son. He has Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2, a neuromuscular degenerative condition which leads to muscles easting away in the extremities. He used to walk and run around but now he’s limited to a power wheelchair.
James goes to mainstream school and is ahead of his classmates but, due to his chair and condition, he doesn’t get asked to play or invited to birthday parties. However, on a Xbox One S, his wheelchair and SMA will not stop him being an equal to anyone else on a Xbox. He will be merited on how well he plays a game and not be dismissed because he can’t kick a footy or chase other kids. He will be able to build and runaway from Minecraft zombies and spiders like others.
An Xbox One S would be a magic leveller for him. A slice of “normality” and an escape from his terrible condition.
Thank you for the opportunity and consideration of James in this.
Amanda Robinson says
We would love to win this. My kids have never actually played xbox. They have been hounding me for Minecraft but we don’t have anything to play it on. Being homeshoolers we use many different life experiences for learning and I believe having the xbox and minecraft would open up a whole new world of learning for my 3 kids. I also love the idea of incorporating the xbox into family games night. We actually play board games every day so it would be exciting to mix that up with an xbox night too.
Carla Smith says
eXtra fun family time
aBility to kick back and take it easy
bOys playing awesome games
eXplore, discover and learn
mOvies for Mum and Dad
eNtertainment on a rainy day
bEst game is Minecraft
aSsured smiles and laughter
Carla Smith says
XBOX ONE S – Acrostic Poem 🙂
Casey says
The gamification of learning is amazing. The soft skills that need to be experienced to learn are being put at the forefront with what the Xbox has on offer. I can’t wait to experience gaming for the first time again with my very young kids.
Annette says
I would like to win this because we could really do with some fun in our household after a really hard 6 months. An xbox is all my son has been asking for since Christmas. I’ve been a single mum for 6 months now after my husband left without a goodbye and hasn’t seen the kids since. I have been trying to find a way to buy one, to see some joy return to my sons face as we play together.
Natalie says
My son has been saving for nearly a year to buy an xbox one. I would dearly love to see his face if he won one. To upgrade from our wii to an xbox one would enable us once again to spend those cold raining Melbourne days together as family playing games, buluding a magical world in minecraft and snuggling together on the couch for a movie night.
Thanks for taking the time to consider iur family.
Esther Rajkowski says
The day this is drawn is my birthday. I would love to see the excited faces of my kids when they win this prize. Seeing their happy faces will be a present for me too.
Tracie Jennings says
My grandson only asked me the other day did I have an Xbox he could play with, would be great to have one for him when he comes to stay, which is often. 🙂
Nicole Fisher says
My 3 boys would love this prize! The 4 year old, who loves to do whatever his older brother does. The 6 year old who is introducing us to all the cool things in life (as seen through kindy eyes). And the 36 year old who grew up on all things arcade. Happy boys x 3 = lots of joy to me!
James says
I think winning this would bring joy to my house. Being able to deny gravity with one block in minecraft and the terror of a cow soawing in your house. This would bring joy to our life.😊
Emma says
I have a seven year old who loves mine craft on the iPad. He would love to have a go at playing it on the Xbox. Maybe I could even get a grasp on how it works!!😬
Mel says
I would love to win this for my girls, their obsession with Minecraft is mind blowing and our first generation Wii just doesnt make the grade anymore! They are trying hard to save for one and this would make their year.
Ainsley says
My son would love to win this. He has had many health challenges in his life and this would be a great distraction for him, all for all of us! We have just moved to a mew town and my husband and I had to resign from our very stressful jobs so money is tight. My son is hoping to get an Xbox for Christmas so this would be a huge surprise!
Donella Reed says
My son is an Xbox fanatic
But our 360 sends me into a panic
Cos we can’t get new games
To challenge his brains
So we need to win this goddammit!!
Matthew James says
My ooooold(as the kids say) ps3 and 360 are just not good enough for them now. You just can’t do as much or play the better games.
Kat Black says
As much as my two boys would love it for the obvious gaming fun (hello minecraft obsessed boys!), I would LOVE this for family movie nights! We do not have a DVD player, Foxtel, Netflix or anything like this. It would be wonderful to snuggle up on the couch with my boys before it’s no longer cool to do so and watch a family movie together!! I love the idea of also adding it to family games night….I’m sure the boys think our board games are becoming outdated and uncool 🙃
simon says
my son is addicted to xbox 360 and minecraft, he saw this pack in shops today and couldn’t believe it! after telling him it was far too much money, he said, “that’s okay dad, i feel jelous to every rich kid that will get one, I just hope they don’t sell out before i save up!”. i hope one day to be able to afford one, and i can’t wait to see his excited little face when that happens😊
Eliza Andrews says
My son has Autism and is crazy about Minecraft – apparently there are online groups kids can join, and improve their social skills.
Lisa Holmes says
My 8 year old son might actually keep his room clean! He is addicted to Minecraft!!!
Renee says
That picture is hilarious. Love their little faces…
An Xbox has been something my son has been asking for the past two Christmases but I haven’t gone there because I wanted to be able to control his screen time, access to inappropriate games, internet access and all of those safety related concerns. But maybe I should have looked into it more. You’ve explained it as a perfectly safe family console…
With screen time limit, personalised settings and a parent control, the designers of this ticked all my concerns off my over protective mummy list 🙂
And with movie access as well, maybe I would be using it more than the kids
Darren says
So the misses has something else to entertain her and the kids during the school holidays, so we dont kill each other! Lol
Deepak Shakya says
I would like to win this prize because I have two little creative minds at home who can really put the power of this xbox to test. They create, dance, race, jump about. With XBox.. the fun is unlimited.
Billy says
That would be nice for the kids and me too
Helen Lorenz says
the X in XBox is the human element, what X makes u laugh, cry or excites you. The “X” is what you bring to the game, a marvelous safe space for kids to explore life, and that’s why I’d like to win one.
Jay says
We would live this. My 6yr old son is just getting into video games and already lives for Minecraft. He will happily babble about Carlos works and things for hours. He spent and hour the other day trying to describe what he wants on his minecraft birthday cake.
Chris campbell says
I would love it just to give it away to my niece as my kids have the use of my own system n when she can not make it over on weekends the lil ones can play minecraft or something from the lego series they are so much more fun when u team up with others.
Michael says
With 4 boys we are always struggling to find things to do that everyone can agree on, I’m pretty sure they would find a way to share and work together with an Xbox1! haha
Rebecca Hood says
Being 6 and being told you can not play any contact or competitive sports due to your heart condition is devastating. However, our son has turned it into a positive and become a Minecraft expert. It’s something he is good at and enjoys and he loves teaching his younger brother, sister and us parents how to play. To win this prize would make him so proud and would make him non stop smile. He deserves something happy and fun in his life for all he has been through. Damon is the bravest boy I know.
Christy says
My husband and I volunteered oversees as full time aid workers in Asia for over 10 years. Our children were both born while there. We returned to Australia a little over a year ago for a much needed rest and change of lifestyle for a while. The kids have never had a games console of any kind and have been content sharing a computer for game playing and Minecraft.
Getting an xbox would be absolutely amazing for them. Thank you for considering our family for the giveaway.
Chelsea Trigwell says
My 8yr old Daughter has been saving for both an Xbox and a dog. To win this means she could then combine what she has saved and buy her much wanted dog (and Daddy can’t say no – the deal was; if she saved enough money she could get a dog 🙂 ). Yay, Mummy would be happy too!!
Belle C says
Minecraft is amazing. We have it on an old PC. The thing the kids have learnt about science, engineering, mechanics, problem solving, crafting and logic is fantastic. It would be so good to get an updated version on an XBox console, especially the Xbox One. That would just be next level cool.
Joey says
My 4 year old has inherited my competitive streak, pretty sure my 2 year old has it too. My partner and I are both gamers but sold our last xbox when the 4 year old was born. I think she is now old enough to enjoy some gaming with her mums! Also, would be great to be able to beat her at something haha she wins all the board games we play, time for some mummy video gaming revenge muahahaha
Mat Anderton says
Being the only male in a house of 6 makes it a bit tricky for me to enjoy game time. I grew up playing Sonic on the Sega Mega Drive, but I haven’t been able to convert my daughters into gaming beasts just yet. I reckon the XBox might be a great way to start. I love all the ideas you’ve posted about family time with the XBox and can’t wait to give them a try if I was the lucky one to be chosen.
Martin Carruthers says
Hey Kate, always great to see your posts on FB with ideas of things to do with the boys. They love their tablet watching videos (youtube kids is great for protection from anything to steer clear of) and playing games, but alas it seems to have finally given up the ghost. So having an xbox in the house, complete with minecraft – never looked at it myself but my eldest speaks with seeming authority about it – would be a great addition to cover the loss of their beloved tablet.
Trisha Jones says
My boys would absolutely love this! They see the games in the shop and would be so excited to be able to play them! It would totally make their year!
Dylan Reed says
Once upon a time there was a boy named Dylan. He loved to play with Lego and ride his bike, but he also loved his old Xbox 360. The only problem was that his annoying little brother always wanted to play too, which meant endless hours of Minecraft. All Dylan wanted was his very own Xbox One so he could get Star Wars Battlefront but his mum Android dad wouldn’t buy him one. He was sad. Then the lovely people at Laughing Kids Learn chose his entry to win one, and he lived happily ever after.
H Jackson says
My daughter and I have been hoping to get an Xbox One S to play the game Just Dance. We both love to dance and it’s a fun and great workout especially for when the little one needs to burn some energy and fame to burn some calories.
H Jackson says
Replace *fame with for me
Thank you auto-correct
Amy Ho says
My 9 year old son has cerebral palsy and whilst his body is frustratingly uncooperative in the real world, it’s a level playing field in the gaming world. It’s a world where he could run on a soccer field, drive a car, play basketball, build a mansion and fly a rocket to the moon! Having had several major operations that had him in plaster for months, he learned that he was great on the game consoles at the Children’s Hospital. It would be awesome to have one at home!
Chris Arnold says
Would give me something to bond over with my niece
Jacquie Campbell says
When I first heard the word Minecraft I thought it was another violent computer game about blowing things ( or people) up. Having 7 and 5 year old boys who need no encouragement to fight and discovering that it’s actually about building worlds , buildings and structures was extremely encouraging to me . My 7 year old wants to be an architect and this game alone enables his imagination. ( plus the fun we can have as a family in a non rough and tumble way is a bonus). My boys both big and small would love this
Cameron Wregg says
I’d love to have the same family time experiences you have shared. I lovebthe fact you can control the content.
Chris w says
My son loves the Xbox one and he now jumps up and down when he sees the Xbox one s
JUSTIN MATTHEWS says
My whole family would get a kick out of this. Nor just me who is a gamer, my kids are becoming more and more interested in gaming that requires your whole body to move, so they are currently using a wii. A Xbox one side would be a huge jump up on technology for them
JUSTIN MATTHEWS says
Wow, my phones autocorrect really kicked in there didn’t it lol
Sharen says
Wow. We have 5 kids and have never owned an xbox console. This would be ideal since they can have their own profiles. I didn’t realize it did all these cool things. Would be exciting to have the kids up to date and not whining about how everyone else has one and being productive in learning.
Suzy Hansford says
We would love to win the xbox one as it would mean we could play computer games as a family rather than just playing board games. It could also help me learn how to pay Minecraft so that when I finally qualify as a teacher I can incorporate it into my lessons as it could make lessons far more fun

I’d love to win this so I could see the joyous looks on my children’s faces.. and then watch them crumple to disappointment and sorrow when I tell them it’s all for me and they’re not allowed to play it. Wake me up at 3am because you can’t find your soft toy hey? The one that’s right next to you on the bed? Well.. let that be your lesson. Mwa ha ha!

My 4 year old son has just got in to playing video games. I asked him why he should win it & says it will be wicked fun & to beat daddy!
My husband is right in to gaming so would be a great bonding time for him & son.
Also will help my son learn that you can’t always win & to learn to lose graciously without all the crying & screaming.

I would love to win a console the whole family could enjoy together! At the moment my 8yo son is obsessed with Roblox and plays on my old laptop but goes a little crazy when we tell him to turn it off. It would be great to see him bond with his Dad and play Minecraft together with parental time controls helping us out! I love the idea of being able to stream shows and movies as well!!

My son is a Minecraft fanatic! I would love to win this to see the look on my boys face when I gave it to him. He appreciates and is grateful for absolutely everything he has. He has the best reaction when he is surprised with anything. His Xbox 360 has been freezing making him lose all his hard work. But he never complains, he knows mummy can’t replace it.

I would love to win this for all three of my children, our family has had it rough over the last few years with one child diagnosed with Autism one with ADHD and the third soon to be diagnosed on the spectrum somewhere. With money always going to medical needs for them there isn’t much left for fun things

I would love to play xbox with my 3 daughters. Especially in the colder weather, we could all snuggle on the louge with a blanket while mum is at work in Saturdays and watch movies or make movies with Minecraft. 👌

I have two boys and one xbox 360 elite. They argue all the time about who gets to play it and ends up in a fight. My boys are 10 and 4. Would love to update the xbox for them

I’d love to win the Xbox one s console for my son!! He often begs me and my so to play he’s dads game in our bedroom so he can get away from his “annoying” little brother who often bullies him. He’s birthdays the 30th of august, would make a perfect present for my minecraft obsessed boy! And as a game freak myself I think we would have endless hours of bonding, exploring and letting our imaginations run wild!

I have 2 grandsons 8 & 11, they always talk to me about minecraft and it would be great for them to be able to show me and involve me in their interests. We have them a lot on the weekends but have no gaming consoles at our home. It would definitely be great for bonding with my our grandchildren. We also have a 5yr old granddaughte that is here every day while my daughter works.😃🙋

I would love to win this for my children and to save my gaming husbands sanity 😂 The kids have been asking for one for ages. But for now they use my husbands PlayStation. They change all of his settings, turn it from cool blue screens to fluffy pink clouds and so on. A seperate family console with games that are age appropriate would save the piece in our house and also save the PlayStation from Turing into fluffy pink clouds😂
