It’s hard to believe that another year is drawing to a close and 2014 is steam rolling around so quickly. Where does the time go? Possum is another year older and certainly much wiser and I take the time to reflect on what has been a terrific year of learning together on Laughing Kids Learn.
With the never-ending support and encouragement from friends and family, 2013 saw my blog make wonderful progress. Over the year, Pinterest has been a huge driver of traffic to my blog and I currently have close to 23,000 people following me. My Facebook page is doing well with over 7,000 followers, with thanks to the wonderful community that ‘like’ and ‘share’ my ideas. I made various attempts throughout the year to learn and interact more on Twitter, however, this looks to be a goal thrown over to be achieved in 2014. I think my adoring love of sharing our ‘behind the scenes’ images of play on Instagram distracts me. Clearly I’m much more visual than is good for me and my blog. LOL
I feel very proud of the work I received through Kidspot and being a guest post to various other blogs throughout the year. I did my first ever hangout over on Google+, which was nerve wrecking but fun at the same time. I’ve become great friends with many other bloggers who I am able to converse with both online and through networking events, they have all make a huge impact on myself as a blogger and taught me so much.
At every end there is a new beginning.
From the bottom of my heart I would like to wish you all a wonderful new beginning. May 2014 bring you and your family great joy and happiness. Thank you all for all your support and I look forward to engaging with you all.
Much love,
Kate & Possum
