Mother’s Day love rocks gift idea

I love Mother’s Day for so many reasons. I love it because I enjoy spoiling my own mother and making her feel appreciated. I love it also for all the extra cuddles and homemade cards I get being a mother to Possum (aged 4 years) and Boo (aged 1). Being a mum can be super hard and it’s nice to have that one day a year to be treated like a queen. 

A little while ago I shared this little quote over on my Facebook page and it went absolutely viral, we are talking about  and for good reason. It’s something I think all mothers (and parents) need to hear.

 This is my gorgeous niece and I helped her make her own love rock, which she was going to give my sister for Mother’s Day. Together we went for a walk and she found a rock she felt would be suitable. We talked about what the love rock could be used for and how she was going to paint it. 

Your child might choose to give their mum a love rock as a paper weight, door stop, garden decoration etc.. The possibilities really are endless. 

 

As you can see, the love rocks my niece made for her mum to place in her garden turned out really well. These Mother’s Day love rocks can be painted by children however they please and even include precious messages using a dark marker. What a beautiful gift to give that will last a lifetime.
