The start of any school year for a child and their family is a big deal because they are all important milestones. To make some of the special moments last, from those early preschool years through to college or university, I have designed you some adorable FREE school photo signs that can be printed and decorated and personalised by your child!
As a teacher, I know and have seen many parents send their child off on their first day of preschool or school and hold back the tears. I’m here to tell you I totally get it, I especially understand now that I’m a parent and Possum (aged 4 .5 years) is of the age she will be starting school next year. Seriously, where does the time go?
Capture the Memories
To make these special moments last a little longer, you might like to start a special tradition of taking a photograph of your child holding one of these cute ‘first day of school’ signs just before they begin their first day of each year level. Let’s be honest, children grow so quickly I find it important to try and capture these moments.
Don’t waste your printer ink on those chalkboard printables. Print these signs and get your child to personalise them with a drawing or some creative design. This FREE printable includes 18 signs, what you see above it what you get. Hopefully something that suits everyone.
What you will need
To use the FREE school photo signs that can be printed and decorated, you will need to –
- Download and print your FREE photo signs
- Have your child decorate the sign that suits whatever grade level they are entering for the year
- Add their decorated school sign to a frame (consider this one)
- Photograph your child holding the sign before they set off to start their first day in that level.
All firsts are important to children and their families and these FREE school photo signs that can be printed and decorated are perfect. In each photo you take, over time you’ll love being able to not only see how they grow and change over time themselves, but also their creative artwork too! Enjoy x
