Simple and fun New Years Eve food ideas for kids

December 29, 2017 by Kate Leave a Comment

New Years Eve is a wonderful and exciting time of year. It’s a chance to get together as a family, connect, celebrate the year that was and welcome the fresh start that a new year brings. I’ve put together some simple and fun New Years Eve food ideas for kids, all with a celebratory theme.

Simple and fun New Years Eve food ideas for kids

Call me crazy, but despite it being holidays I still find the energy to get excited about New Year’s Eve and find ways to celebrate with my girls Possum (aged 6 years) and Boo (3 years). They get excited as much as I do about baking and making with a New Yea’s Eve theme.

Sure, we very rarely all make it to midnight, the eyelids can’t seem to stay open, but that doesn’t mean we don’t try.

Happy New Year from Laughing Kids Learn

This new year, I’ll be celebrating it with my family and extended family down on the South East coast of Australia. I’m sure there will be no shortage of fun games, delicious food and belly laughs in the lead up to midnight.
