I love a good photo challenge.
This year I’ve decided to conduct a month-by-month play photo challenge called #12monthsofplay.
It has a strong focus on engaging our children in various ways to play, whilst being easy to do (hello, once a month commitment). I’m also only making it available to complete on Instagram and my closed Facebook group called ‘Activities for Kids’, as this ensures we have a community aspect to the challenge.
Life with kids is busy, seriously, who has time for a weekly or daily (eep) photo challenges?

It’s so simple, every month we will use a key word that will inspire our child’s play and then share a picture (or many) with the community in my closed Facebook group (which you can join here) or over on Instagram. How you interpret that word and connect it with play is up to you!
How can you play along?
Request to join my closed Facebook group, ‘Activities for Kids’ and begin participating!
You can also share your pictures on Instagram and tag them #12monthsofplay. Easy.
What happens if I forget and miss a week?
This photo challenge is pressure-free. If you miss a week, no problem at all. Either skip that month entirely or catch up when life allows it. No one is monitoring what you do or don’t do.
What makes the #12monthsofplay photo challenge so great?
